How to send us your trip photos

Introduction

Sending us your photos usually involves two steps. First you need to combine your photos into a single file, usually a compressed archive called a Zip file. Then you send us the file either using email (if the total file size is reasonably small, say a few megabytes) or use a service to upload the file to a place we can retrieve it from (if the file is fairly large). Your compressed (.zip) file size will depend on the number of photos you've included and the size of each photo (resolution).

Combine your photos into a single Zip file:

This can be done with programs like PKZip, WinZip or even Windows Explorer (in Windows XP). 7Zip has a free zip program you can download if you don't want to use Windows Explorer.

Instructions for using Windows Explorer can be found here. Please consult your application documentation if you are using WinZip, PKZip,  7Zip or StuffIT on an iMac.

Send the Zip file to us:

If the zip file you just created is fairly small e.g. a few megabytes (our email system can handle up to 20MB, but yours may not...we use the free GMail) then you can just email us the zip file. Send it to admin@bradstreetsk.com.

This is probably the easiest way.. and for large files you will have to use this method. You can upload the file using a free service called TransferBigFiles.

Transfer Big Files form

Simply fill in the form with the file you want to transfer and our email address. The file will be uploaded to their server and we will receive an email with a link to your file. Once we download the file we will post it to the Bradstreet photo gallery.
